Nokomis Boat Ramp is located 3 miles from RCR, just past Nokomis Beach. Parking is free and you will launch into Blackburn Bay. Open 6 a.m. to Midnight.
Directions: Turn left onto Laurel Rd, go across US 41and then turn right onto Albee Rd West. Turn right onto Casey Key Road.
Open to the public 6:30 am to 9 p.m. No Fishing license required. 700 ft pier, with public restrooms, Picnic Shelters , a bait shop and restaurant.
South Jetty Beach, 2000 Tarpon Center Dr, Venice
This beach features a paved jetty for fishing. An excellent place to see dolphins, manatees, and beautiful sunsets.
North Jetty Beach, 1000 S Casey Key Rd, Nokomis
This beach features multiple picnic areas, some with covered pavilions and charcoal grills. There is access to the beach from the park area by multiple walk over bridges. There are public restrooms, showers, and a childrens play area. You can bring your own grill, NO animals are allowed. There is a bait shop and a Concession shop, fishing is allowed off the jetty with a license. Get to this beach early, people stake out their picnic areas early in the day.

RCR has a Commercial Fishing Pier license which allows anyone to fish off our pier without a license. This pier is for fishing only, no swimming or watercraft landing is allowed.
Generally any taking of fish (even catch & release) requires a license. Whether fishing from the shore or a kayak, you must have a saltwater fishing license. Three exemptions are:
Kayaks are available for use up to three hours. There is a $5 charge for each kayak. Must have a valid driver's license to sign out in the office. Life jackets are provided. Water shoes are recommended due to oyster beds in Dona Bay.
