Nokomis Beach is a beautiful, natural beach just 3 miles from RCR. It is the area's oldest public beach and is popular with families and fishing enthusiasts. With full facilities including a concession stand , picnic area, Playground, Restrooms, Outdoor showers, bait shop and free Beach Parking. A popular fishing jetty sits right at Casey Key's southern tip, where the Gulf meets the intracoastal waterway Alcohol is permitted, no glass containers.
Turn left onto Laurel Rd, and go straight across US41. Road curves right onto Albee, go over the bridge to the beach.
VENICE BEACH 6 miles

Beach parking is $9 per day, public restrooms, showers, are located at the end of Venice Ave, with boardwalks to the beach. This beach stretches several miles with clear blue waters and slightly coarser sand. It is an excellent place for shell collecting or hunting for sharks teeth! Lots of restaurants and shops close by.
No smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed on the beach.
Turn left on Laurel Rd, then left again on US 41 at the light. Keep right on US 41 turn right onto Venice Ave at the light, stay to the left and go over the bridge.
SIESTA KEY BEACH 26 miles

This beach was rated #1 of the top ten beaches in the USA two times in the last seven years. This beach features 100% pure quartz sand, soft and cool on the feet, and crystal clear water. Siesta Key has public restrooms, two concession stands and a sunset deck for viewing the beautiful sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. Alcoholic beverages are allowed but no glass containers. Smoking cigarettes is allowed on the beach. Free parking for Siesta and Turtle Beach.
Turn left on Laurel Rd, then right on US 41 heading north. Follow US 41 for about 26 miles, then turn left on FL 72/Stickney Point Road. Turn right on Beach Road and follow to beach parking.
